The Developing Professional Practice Module Guide
The DPP Module is about Developing Professional Practice going through the stages of learning about "best practice", implementing it, and researching/evaluating what happens.
The module guide gives an outline of the assignment and assessment criteria. This is supplemented by four additional sections:
- Needs analysis and Justification
- Planning Learning about best practice, implementation and research.
- The Evidence Section
- Impact and Ways forward
The module is used by school based programmes, and for specialist programmes such as in PE, Design and Technology, and for the Global dimension, and to encompass existing programmes that are not validated such as NPSLBA and CCET.
Candidates may need to adapt and adjust any guidance to their own programme. Please consult your own module leader.
